Telephone Furniture - London Area Index Cards

We hold an archive of over 400 index cards and less than 1% are from the London area. We would be interested in hearing from anyone who can explain why these should be so scarce.

The London versions are very different to the usual index cards, being printed on paper rather than card and being oversized. They are designed to fit underneath the drawer sleeve, fitting below the metal clip that holds the sleeve in place - this clip can be lifted when the drawer is fully opened.

We are offering first generation of the Romford Exchange card which we have paired with a sleeve card allowing personal numbers to be recorded.
